When Pigs Fly - a record breaking night!

Our legendary quiz night returned on April 24th at the Brunswick Pub in Hove, which was packed to the rafters for the 12th annual "When Pigs Fly" event, hosted by our fabulous Chair and quizmaster extraordinaire, Pete Lawson.

With 11 teams and 63 participants, the atmosphere was electric. Pete put our supporters to the test with some tricky questions covering everything from music and film to food and numbers. The highlight of the night was a "mystery round" featuring blind taste tests of crisps and chocolate which went down a treat!

In addition, our raffle was a huge success thanks to the generosity of local businesses who donated an array of fantastic prizes – Aesop Brighton, Between Two Thorns, Brighton Beach House, Brighton Dome, Brighton Gin, Dead Wax Social, Durban Curry Club, Fatto a Mano, Furna Restaurant, Gunns Florist, Grand Hotel Eastbourne, Kemptown Bookshop, Luna Hut Sauna, Namo Brighton, Starfish and Coffee, St George’s Inn, TGB Spa, The Ancient Mariner, The Brunswick, The Earth & Stars, The Kemp, The Old Market, The Open House, The Mesmerist, The Signalman, The Shakespeare’s Head, Wild Flor along with Dorothy Koomsom, Araminta Hall, Emma Druade PR and Laura Wilkinson. A massive thank you to everyone who contributed.

The event was seamlessly run by our brilliant Board of Trustees.

We are thrilled to announce that the night raised £2,564! Our best result yet and every penny will go directly toward supporting our mission. A massive thank you to Pete, our trustees, and everyone who came along.
