Transitions 2025

Part of Me is a rap and music video created by Year 6 creatives, exploring their ambitions and feelings as they transition to secondary school. Created by Year 6 students from The Laurels Primary School in Worthing, Sussex. The project was run by Little Green Pig/Young Writers Collective, in partnership with Northbrook College's Widening Participation team. The group took part in workshops with Little Green Pig mentors and workshop leaders Louie Levack (Audio Active) and Jacques Griffiths (Props UK/Northbrook College Propmaking Tutor). Louie supported the creation of the lyrics and rap, with support on sound engineering and editing by Jordan (Northbrook College), and the featured plaster cast body parts were made during art workshops led by Jacques Griffiths and Student Ambassadors.
