WEEK NINE: 17 JUNE
Our teacher led adventure is coming to its conclusion. How the ending happens depends on what the Year 6 children have suggested/imagined to some extent…so we can’t tell you exactly what will happen yet.
But we can share that this week:
The children will receive a letter from MOUTH informing them that the tree has been saved and they’ve decided not to cut it down, thanks to the persuasive letters and powerful words of the children at Laurels
The doors, windows and items in the tree will be removed and disappear.
Large chalk markings will be drawn on the playground of the Inklings symbols
Goodbye letters/notes will be left from the Inklings to the children explaining their departure
All children will receive later on a small basket with a note in it and a copy of the Strange Sussex special edition that tells their story of what they discovered about the Inklings in it to take home - presented during a special assembly on Thursday 27 June
