Aged 13-18? Got something to say? Want to develop your skills, grow in confidence and get ready to perform? Find out about Amplified in Eastbourne, starting April 2026, here. Applications to take part in Amplified 2026 are now open.
Amplified is a platform for young creatives, aged 13-18, to express themselves through spoken word, poetry, lyrics and performance. Young people choose what they want to write about and how they want to say it.
With workshops and support from professional experts Roy McFarlane, Cate Ferris, Suhayla El-Bushra and mentors. Amplified allows young creatives the opportunity to express what they want to say, however they want to say it . This year’s Amplified takes place at The Birley Centre and everyone is welcome to attend the free performance on Saturday 16 May 2026, 5pm-6pm.
Led by Young Writers Collective and AudioActive, supported using public funding by Arts Council England.
