Out of school workshops and events

All our out-of-school workshops and events are free so everyone can take part, although we prioritise places to children who may not be able to access these opportunities elsewhere. We meet every week during term time offering free, fun creative writing projects for children. We enjoy all kind of writing, from poems and stories to journalism, script-writing and comic books!

In the past two years, some of our projects have included Brighton & Hove’s first travel guide written for children by children, an audio tour exploring homelessness in our city, and a crime drama performed in Brighton Fringe. Read more about these projects on our Showcase page.
