Amplified, Brighton Festival

Saturday 18 May
Brighthelm Centre

Following a six-week writing and mentoring project, a group of young people from Brighton & Hove take to the stage for Amplified. Representing diverse backgrounds, and with unique tales to tell, the performers inhabit public space and amplify their words as never before. Part TED Talk, part YouTube confessional, Amplified is ultimately a celebration of the human story.

Create Your Own Story, Burgess Hill Summer Festival

Tuesday 2 June
3 – 5:30pm
Burgess Hill Library

We’re delighted to be taking part in the Burgess Hill Summer Festival with a one-off workshop, Create Your Own Story.

Our experienced workshop leader will guide children through the process of creating a story from beginning to end. Meanwhile, a professional artist will be creating illustrations and bringing the young writers’ ideas to life. All participants will leave with an illustrated story of their very own.

This workshop is free, but advance booking is essential. Suitable for children aged 7-11 years.

If you are interested in coming along, please see Burgess Hill Town Council for more information.
