Damian Barr’s Literary Salon Returns to Brighton!

Our wonderful patron Damian Barr is bringing his legendary Literary Salon to Brighton, all in aid of Little Green Pig!

This special fundraising event will take place in the gorgeous Dome Room at the Hotel du Vin on Ship Street on Wednesday 14 June, 2017. Get your tickets here.

The Salon features wondrous Brightonians Juno Dawson and Alexis Petridis and all proceeds will go to Little Green Pig, Brighton’s creative writing charity for young people.

Juno Dawson is the multi award-winning author of ten titles for young adults. She’ll be chatting about her adult debut, the memoir The Gender Games.

Alexis Petridis is Britain’s finest music journalist- the head rock and pop critic for The Guardian, and a regular contributor to GQ. Alexis will be sharing his love for Sue Townsend’s legendary The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole Aged 13¾ and telling us what Mole means to him.

As always, your salonnière will be the ever-wonderful Damian Barr – writer and Little Green Pig Patron.

Tickets are £20 (plus booking fees) including a welcome drink. There will also be a special silent auction – more details to follow! Book your tickets here.

Doors open at 6.30pm and the event will begin at 7.30pm.
